THEME:   Empowering girls with the skills and knowledge about menstraul hygiene.

METHOD:   Team meetings and Outreaches.

A planning meeting for HAFT executive leaders was held on 10^th February at Fins Medical University,  Fort-portal,  Uganda.    11 excutive members attended the meeting and a number of isuues were discussed including, health talk preparational training, identifying target places, and budgeting.

On 18^th February a general meeting for all members was held to deliver the working program to all members.   Planned outreaches were discussed and proposed areas of visitation  were highlighted.   Thanks were offered, by all members, to the Haft coordinator for his endless support,

On 19^th February the Haft team carried out an outreach at Bukuku Health Centre IV,  Fort-portal, Uganda, where both out-patients and a few in-patients attended the health education talk. In addition to the talk the Haft team supplied facemasks to all patients that were at the hospital and hospital staff.

On 7^th March the Haft team carried out health education talk at St. Paul’s II Secondary School, Bunyangabu District, focusing on menstruation stigma, and the talk was an open interactive discussion to all students both males and females, where experiences were shared by team members and students, and many questions were answered and the talk was enjoyed by the students.
