Health Advocates Frontier Team (HAFT) is an association based in Western Uganda, in the Rwenzori region, that has changed people’s lives, particularly for girls and women as they are the most abused gender.

“HAFT” Health Advocates Frontier Team came to my knowledge way back in 2020 through my immediate supervisor at the platform for the needy and voice of Toro FM Mr Waddle Stephen.

As part of the HAFT Menstrual Stigma Campaign, a group of HAFT volunteers joined the world in commemorating Women’s Menstrual Day, looking at a typical girl child who experiences her first menstrual period, without any knowledge of menstrual hygiene.

TOPIC : Menstrual hygiene in adolescent girls, and the possible effects of poor hygiene during the menstrual time.

The total number of girls attending the talk was seventy-eight (78).

Breastfeeding is feeding a baby breast milk, directly from a mother’s breast. It can also be a process of feeding a mother’s breast milk to her infant by expressing the milk from the breast, and bottle feeding to the infant.
